I just realized how hard this will be -- I can hear it just fine in my head! But describing this song might be tough, but here goes:

1) Singer sounds un-cannily like Maynard James Keenan from TOOL and APC.

2) It is a mellow/melodic rock song, commonly would be heard on Alt rock stations (KROQ, WCYY, et al.)

3) I believe it came out about a year ago, but didnt get a ton of radio love. I've heard it on local alt rock stations a few times..

4) Sounds a lot like the band earshot, but if it is: I have searched exhaustively looking and can't find the song.

Lyrics that I know: There is a break down where the singer says:

"I loved you from the very first night.. I'll love you 'til the day that I die" <--- But that is not the chorus.

I know, I know.. Not much to work with, but this has been DRIVING ME CRAZY for months.

i was really depressed, didnt sleep in two days.

...Or at least a few of the most memorable tunes that first come to mind -- not based on the performer, but more based on the lyrics and melody line. I'm starting a small jazz combo and it would be great to have a better idea of which songs people would really love to hear!

I think it's in spanish, and I've only seen the music video.
It's a guy and a girl playing guitars sitting in a dark room and at the end once they get up theres a ton of broken guitars at their feet.
I think theres minimal words mostly guitar playing.

There is a song that I am trying to find and I thought it was one of the above bands. but I cant find it. The video is the lead singer(im assuming) and he is going through the forest and the animals like a bunny or squirrel are human like and the video is jerky like an old movie. I hope someone knows what i mean. When it first came out they would play it on the screen before movies at AMC theatres.
