i was really depressed, didnt sleep in two days.
none of my friends could cheer me up.
so i put abbey road and now i feel great
they have somtging none of the other have
none of the traditionals olds geniuses like b.b king and ray charles or geniuses like james brown or gods like freddie mercury.
they are better from the stones. better then the **** we have today.
way are they so great? whats the secret

I used to listen to all kinds of music from havy metal punk to funk and bluse
but all ways i liked the beatles
they are out of any certain style of music
they are even greater the nthe king

The Beatles were amazingly great, and I'll tell you why:
Back in the day, the Beatles were the only thing there was. Yeah, sure, maybe there were other artists, but as far as everyone was concerned, there was only the Beatles. Not like today, where it's all these blathering rappers or poppy nobodys who always have the same sounding songs. There are so many artists to focus on that have ONLY ONE GOOD SONG and that's it. Back in the day, though, a Beatles record was all you needed.

Nobody knows......and we shall never know. Everyone has their opinions of why the Beatles rock....but can the reason we love them truly be put into words? In my humble opinion, no. They are too great for words. Perhaps we should just Let it Be.

I have no idea but it's probably because they switched from bubblegum pop to acid rock in the middle of the 60s and my guess is that their best stuff came from the acid rock phase.

Great music, great song writers, fantastic musicianship, what's not to love? It's also a great mix of personality and sense of humor. How can you not listen to a song like Polythene Pam and not smile?

thier secret was in thier upbeatness, not one lyric is depressing, hateful or sad really, plus they had an innocence to them "i wanna hold your hand" today we get "smack that", "I wanna F*** you", and "ho's in defferent area codes". the beetles were about making people feel good, "i get by with a little help from my friends", "Let it be" "hide your love away"
they were about making people feel good, where as now everything is sex and depression and dont get me wrong i like alot of that stuff.....but it doesnt make me feel as good as lissening to "come together"
