Yes! Hundreds and hundreds of them. I'm not trying to be a smarta$$ but that is such a wide spectrum of music you're addressing. If your taste for these types of music is new-found, then perhaps you should start with some of the basic favourites. I would recommend:
Ella Fitzgerald - just about anything
Sam and Dave - eg. Soothe Me, Soul Man, Hold On...
Otis Redding - Dock of the Bay, Try a little Tenderness
Stormy Monday by any of a number of talented artists (Bobby Bland, BB King, Allman Brothers...)
Etta James - Something's Got a Hold On Me, At Last
BB King - The Thrill is Gone
for starters.

Jeez... half these answers are waaaay out there...
Anyways: try listening to
Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown. He plays a mixture of blues and Zydeco that is out of this world. His guitar talks to you baby... he also plays the accordion and fiddle.
For the more conventional blues, try Stevie Ray Vaughn. He has a blistering guitar that is also very melodic.
For r&b, forget the cd's and head to the dvd section of Blockbuster and rent the original "The Blues Brothers".
Listen to the music and take it from there... there is a world of exploration to do there.
For Jazz... well, try Thelonious Monk, but I'll tell you, Jazz is not for the regular Joe... or Joanne.
Go exploring!!!
'Nough said.

hi Joe via Hendrix has a distinctly bluesy intro riff... uhh per danger even Johnny B. Goode. numerous the excellent blues songs are like purple abode, and so on. of direction the king of blues is Stevie Ray Vaughn, Howlin' Wolf is distinctly good, and so is B.B. King. Any of those are authentic good. prepare the blue scale lots, it truly is lots like the pentatonic scale (the rock scale) with some diverse notes. in my opinion it truly is often been my adventure to learn from the greats, and prepare prepare prepare. besides the undeniable fact that, attempt to stay faraway from enjoying purely different persons's songs, and take it sluggish to make your own, you never know... you should be the subsequent great blues musician.
