Wasn't there a rap version of the song Through the Fire by Chaka Khan? I remember hearing it.

I want to tune to drop B and I know how to do it. The problem is the strings. I know they get loose and I should set up my guitar with 11 gauge strings to make it work. The question is....Will I be able to play songs in standard with 11 guage strings or will it be hard. I know some songs in drop B and I like the tuning itself but I have only one main guitar and dont know if I should do it. I have 9 guage now and thought stepping it up to 11 gauge...but I just want to know if anyone plays with 11 guage strings and plays in standard tuning with ease. Like how hard is bending and other things with 11 guage strings?

thanks

Was played on an american/black radio in the late 80's...
Words were
Last night.. I had the time of my life (it's true)
Last night..I made love for the very first time (with you)

Part of the song goes (I'm digging on you- your digging on me- We're digging on we)

My husband and I danced to that song in his apartment, when we were dating, on New Years Eve when we were getting ready to go out. I heard the song on WGCI- Chicago back then alot. My searches have been in vain to find out what it is.

THX

im 29 so you'd probably have to be in my age group, but does anyone remember a band from around 1991 called Wild Boyz? Something jogged in my memory the other day that made me think of them and the one song that was played on the radio alot, now i cant remember what it was, i could kick myself for throwing out all my old cassettes. they were considered rock at the time...along the same lines as like firehouse, steelheart, slaughter, ya know, those hair bands. well if anyone knows who im talking about could you tell me the name of that song they released and where i might find it? or the whole album? im sure its out of print.

I really don't know much, so this is hard and probably hopeless, but I think the song is pretty new and I know that it is a song confessing a life-long love, and kind of saying, "tell me if you love me or I'll leave you alone forever."

I know this is vague, but any ideas would be great!

My music teacher gave us a CD to practice singing a song. We preformed the song in a concert already now. Since I don't need the songs (2 tracts) anymore, how do I take them off and put songs I like on them? I have the songs all ready, but I need to take the other songs off the CD for I can put the new songs on. Please help.

I have looked all over the net including Harmony.com trying to find out any thing about Fullerton instraments, like who makes them, where there made and there reliabillity, but all I can find is places that sell them and no one has any feedbacks or ratings for them. Im looking at a FB120 Bass amp, but if the price is any indication of it's performance then I'll just go with the Ashland amp, at least I can get a review on that product.
any help would be greatly appreaciated. even just a web site would help.
Thanks.

I am interested in learning how to play the guitar but I have relatively short fingers. I was wondering if there was some way to determine whether I would actually be able to play effectively? For example is there a finger arrangement I could attempt that would prove whether I would be able to perform all necessary notes, chords, etc.?
