All mother ******** morons. They don't know jack shlt about the guitar and didn't even answer your question. Here's a chord, if you can play this than you have no worries. Play open high e string, then put your first finger on B string 3rd fret, middle finger on G string 5th fret, then pinky on 7th fret D string. If you can strum that chord clearly than your good to go but finger stretches will be the least of your worries.

I acknowledged that to a guitar trainer I recognize.. he insists it may be performed.. is aware of this sort of man or woman who performs very good. Guitars will also be observed with quite a lot of widths of necks. I even have small arms however after experimenting with quite a lot of sized necks I observed the strings at the narrower ones extra tricky to play considering that they have been nearer. It's generally extra an problem of correct hand placement that makes it viable. Plus, over the years you'll be able to attain greater manipulate. A well trainer might exhibit you that. If your satisfied your arms are too small, check out a ukelele.. or a banjo. I suppose electrical guitars are so much simpler to play. The hyperlink underneath is a dialogue on guitars for folks with small arms.

hmmm. . .well, go ahead and try playing the guitar. even though your fingers may be short, if you play and practice a lot, they will get used to the feeling of playing chords. another thing, once you play chords, many different people play different ways, because their fingers are either short or they are just not able to use certain fingers to make that chord, so instead they use different fingers. i hope you know what i mean because its hard to explain.
i play guitar, but my fingers are long, and when i first started, it was very difficult for me to play chords, but i've been playing more since then, and they are quite used to it. plus i used different strategies to play correct chords, even if im not using the correct fingers.
i hope i helped =]

go to a music store and ask an expert. A lot of it is wrist motion and does not matter how small your fingers are because there are a lot of little kids who can play the guitar.
