They will talk bad about reggaeton because latin americans stole that reggae to make reggaeton and it is pretty much a rip off. Hip hop is never spoken badly about because they aren't stealing anything and my opinoin is uppity folks just don't won't blacks to be know (I am Black get someone else if you don't like the answer)

Actualy the bad talkof musc started with American hip hop and rap ! Regaeton later came out and evolved from the hip hop and rap and people also talk bad about the genre!

good question.
both can be found quite degrading, dirty, and offensive.
maybe people rather be insulted in their own language? i dont mind either of them. i know in the car, my dad has a "no sean paul" policy; whenever a sean paul song comes on the radio, he makes me change the stationor he puts on his own music (and trust me, with the music he listens to, i change it--fast!) ;)
