It cracks me up that Wendy's is using an instrumental version of Blister in the Sun in their new ad campaign - guess the lyrics would be a little too offensive for the burger buying public :) I've also heard the Jam - Start (Cadillac ad) and The The - This is the Day (M & M's) in recent weeks.

Just wondering which punk or alternative band will be next... your thoughts?

I've been listening to this song by Timbaland, and I can't figure out who each artist directs their sayings to and what they are about... does anybody know?

So it's a semi-new song I'm thinking, my roommate played it recently and down in NC I heard it on their station. It's a man singing, kind of pop-like but jazzy as well, making it slower than most pop. His voice is lower in tone, and sounds like an older man is singing it. In addition, the song has to be at least 5 minutes, although I think it may be longer. It was played on a light mix station. I realize this is so little to go by, and I feel like an idiot for asking a question this vague, but it's gonna drive me nuts til I figure it out! Any help is much appreciated :)

I remember it went something like "I knew my enemies before I was born."Or was it "I knew my friends before I was born."
I can't remember most of the song but it was pretty good and I know I don't have much information on it but if it rings a bell to any of you please tell me!
