I spent 20 dollars on a cd that I thought was absolute crap.. all the songs are 5 minuites long and they all sound the same and are COMPLETELY different from their first cd, all except for When You Were Young... i was quite disapointed.. anyone else?

$20? Where on earth do you buy your CDs? I got it at Best Buy for $9.99 and got a bonus CD with two extra songs on it. My favorite songs off "Sam's Town" are 'For Reasons Unknown' and 'Read My Mind.'
I think "Hot Fuss" was better, overall ... either way, my boy scored all of us tickets to the Killers' concert in Portland on May 26 ... it oughta be good.

heh i was going to say i liked the indie taste to it...hmm but your right i couldnt tell when one song ended and when one song began. unless for the pause. i was hoping to get their first cd sometime soon, but gee, when you say COMPLETELY different, i hope its in a good way.

I liked their sophomore album.It has more edge, and it sounds unique.Their first CD was catchy, but this one is more appealing to me.Something, I like. My personal favorite is Read My Mind.This one wasn't as successful but it wasn't worse.I liked it.

Yeah, me too. My friend swore by it and made me a copy and told me it would change my life, yet my life remains unchanged... The first three are okay, but I end up skipping the rest.
