I need to buy a guitar for my friends sweet sixteen. Shes an absolute music fanatic, and loves the guitar. My friends and I want to buy her a guitar that will make her birthday worthwhile and also embroider her name on the insturment. We're all willing to spend about 200-600 on the purchase, and i was wondering what kind of guitar i should get her (the best brand and/or make if possible in the price range) and also information about how we can embroider her name professionally (dumb question, but before or after the guitar is bought?). Keep in mind shes a begginner but, id like to give her a good quality intrument. Electric acoustic or acoustic is perferable.

I hate the boring, reptitious hip hop garbage that seems to be loved by both Americans and Europeans. To me, it's like nursery rhymes for babies. When you read the lyrics, there aren't any words or ideas that couldn't come from someone in the sixth grade. It's pathetic.

I miss voices like Karen Carpenter. I miss singers who really meant what they sang with all their heart, like John Denver. Luckily, Rush is still going strong.

Here is a snipped of Rush lyrics. Compare it with the grade school drivel you hear nowadays from hip hop and rap:

does it mean they're out of tone? i tightened them very well and the pitch is good, there is just an echoing sound when i hit the floor tom, toms, and bass...
is it normal? i remember hearing something about putting a towel in them but idk?
how come there isn't an echo when u hear drums in a song?

I can stand the rain on the rooftops..and some more lol.
