I need some more Thrash bands to listen to.

Help me out, preferably with bands I probably haven't heard of before. Here's some examples of what I like:

Thrash I really like:
-Megadeth
-Overkill
-Tankard

Thrash I like a lot less:
-Slayer
-Kreator

Thanks

i am 19 and my favorite music is mostly 40 years old or older! EVERYTHING that has been released in the last 20 years was influenced by the music that came before it, a lot of which is timeless. I'm offended
anyway, that said, i can't pick one favorite song. but a large percentage of the songs i love are by the Beatles, who are anything but "grandma music"

i know music from 40gross

I would like to self teach myself to play clarinet, without regular lessons or a teacher. I've been taught to play the saxophone by a friend of mine who plays sax, and I have been told clarinet and saxophone are similar. Would I be able to teach myself to play clarinet without developing too many bad habits without a teacher and lessons?

For a period of 180 yrs., give and take, we were inundated by what became, famous classical music composers. Why were they all men? Likewise, for artists.(painters, sculpturers, etc)
This is a well-intended question, please. Perhaps society demanded more of women to be home-based rather than creative?
Thank you.

I am looking for good music, not the cookie-cutter garbage that is available everywhere. Does anyone know of some good music blogs or sites that cover music that is incredible but not overdone? Genres of interest are contemporary, classcal, rock.

I have found BBC radio 1 charts, sometimes what is big on those charts become big in America, like The Killers, The Fray and Gnars Barkley but I'm tired of looking through bands I usually don't care for. Anyone have any suggestions where I would find songs/music that has great potential to hit it big in America?
