Cameras, still or video, are not allowed in law courts in UK. The sketch artist isn't allowed to draw in court - he / she has to leave the court and draw from memory.

probably because thats how it was in the olden days before camera's
it makes it more authentic....and maybe they are worried about the flash and the camera parts in the courtroom with the prisoners....

for many yerars, cameras were not allowed in courtrooms. over the years, we have seen video or pics from many high profile cases
