Hey im in the process of buying my new electric guitar and i have to choose between a $600 Shecter or an LTD of the same price. I play mainly Speed Metal like dragon force, Trivium and avenged sevenfold... any idea on which would be better.. ive heard that shecters are a bit better but i'm not sure any help would be great

Someone told me that Gerard Way having short blonde hair he looks like Billy Corgan. (the smashing pumkins and My Chemical Romance totally rock but im just saying Billy Corgan aint hot but gerard is!!! lol.) what do you think?

i've have a acoustic guitar for about 6 months now, and i can play like songs like yellowcard and greenday, mostly chords, and i can play some of the solos (i know it's easy but i didn't spend a lot of time playing guitar since i'm a student) but what should i do to improve because i was listening to John Mayer and some other people's solo and i want to play solo, too.
