Hey im in the process of buying my new electric guitar and i have to choose between a $600 Shecter or an LTD of the same price. I play mainly Speed Metal like dragon force, Trivium and avenged sevenfold... any idea on which would be better.. ive heard that shecters are a bit better but i'm not sure any help would be great

I'd go for Ibanez RG1570 from an online stoore, of course, but if you really want jsut one of those two, I'd say Schecter - they give you a bit more for the money.

Play them before you buy. One neck may be faster than the other or pick-ups may differ in gain.

go play them and see which one you like better. are you asking which ones we think are cooler? how about the one you can play better.
