When I was little in the late 80's, I used to hear this country song by some lady. The song is like she is looking for a dress. She is "looking for something in white", "looking for something in red", green...close to the end its like "looking for something, gotta have something, Im looking for somethiiiiiiiiiiiiiing in ___(whatever color she says). I need some help with some Status Quo lyrics. What does it mean in the song In the Army when he sings the following-

What does too-lan (not sure of spelling) mean? I'm sure that's what he's singing anyway...I've just been listening to it again.
