all my friends listen to rock and metal music. i like pop but i want to start to listen to rock music so as to be in their discussions. what can i do????

So if I was buying a set of strings, what would i be looking for?
I'm a complete musical numpty!
Some people are musical minded, some people are great artists, with me it's numbers and formulae, a good skill to have but it doesn't really help you unwind after a hard day.
I'm just after a string set that I can start to strum some tunes with, without costing me more than an amateur should spend!

Is it true that heavy metal enthusiast or/and biker always smell of leather and deoderant.

This is something that I have noticed over the years.
It is obvious why they smell of leather; why so much deoderant?

"this aint a scene, its an arms race". i was completly disapointed in it. Pete Wentz came up with the idea, and i thought he could have done soooooo much better. he has such a brilliant mind and i want to know what was up! i understand the whole concept of poking fun at themselves, but it was still hollywood in a different way. i really miss the "take this to your grave" and "from under the cork tree" days. i still love them, but that video disapointed me.
