Is it true that heavy metal enthusiast or/and biker always smell of leather and deoderant.
This is something that I have noticed over the years.
It is obvious why they smell of leather; why so much deoderant?
Are you like this if you are one of these sorts of people?

Don't know if it's true that heavy metal enthusiasts and/or bikers always smell of leather and deodorant, but there is an explanation as to why people who wear leather would smell of deodorant: LEATHERS ARE HOT!!! They make you sweat like you wouldn't believe. Bikers wear leather not so much for the look but because it's one of the toughest things you can wear so it will protect you from road rash a lot better than anything else if you have to dump your bike. And not all heavy metal enthusiasts wear leather -- those who are into earlier heavy metal like Deep Purple or Judas Priest seem to wear more leathers than those who listen to '80's hair bands or '90's thrash-grunge bands.

What does metal have to do with bikers smelling like leather and deoderant? Are you implying that all bikers listen to metal and that all metal listeners are bikers? And all of which smell?

yes red I am one of those people. I listen to Heavy Metal and I like bikes, and I can honstley say that I havent noticed that about anyone. I work in a hospital have a family and go to concerts evey chance I get and yes I am past the age of 30. I am so sorry that this has been on your mind and bothering you to the point of asking such a snobish question. but please feel safe there isnt a leather sent deoderant that we sorts of people buy. Thanks for asking life would be dull with out people of your sorts also

I am a biker and I dont smell of either. Also, I cant stand Heavy Metal Muisc.

been into metal over 20 years and never once was a biker, never befriended a biker. and I dont smell.

That's kind of a snooty question. I think the part where you said, "these sorts of people" implies that you look down on them. You need to think about that. Not nearly all people who wear leather or ride bikes act like stereotypes, like you picture them, thats why they call it a stereotype, instead of reality. A lot of bikers are very nice people who simply like to ride, and to dress a certain way. Why do you dress the way you do, and drive what you do? Think about that.
