Random question and possibily difficult to answer. I am trying to find the name of a song or the artist who sang it - the song was used in a film - I don't know which one and it had rapy overyones with soundbites from a clasical track in it. The singer was a black woman with plaited hair - it was popular in about 2000. For some eason I think the name of the artist is something to do with sweets I may be wrong. Any help appreciated!

Ok. im looking for a song it sounds kinda bob-marley ish, but not really, it has a similar jamacan-ish rhythum to it, not like Off and On rithym, its more like a flow in circles from one circle to the next, i dont know if you know what i mean

but, the only word that i know is "OHH" and its during the chorus.

the lineup is like:
words words words words "OooHH"

The 2 sillables of Oh are split up into diferent notes.
The first part of Oh, like the OOOO part is higher than the ending of the word h. About one step down the music i think, not like a whole octave drop its just like

____________

then it goes on to more wordswordwords then another "oOOHH"

it is a guy singing it, its not hip-hop or anything, its like rock i think. more soft rock tho not screamo.
