Random question and possibily difficult to answer. I am trying to find the name of a song or the artist who sang it - the song was used in a film - I don't know which one and it had rapy overyones with soundbites from a clasical track in it. The singer was a black woman with plaited hair - it was popular in about 2000. For some eason I think the name of the artist is something to do with sweets I may be wrong. Any help appreciated!

I dont know why but i'm thinking Patrice Rushen and the film was men in black (a little later than 2000 though). Oh yeah is the song "forget me knots"
