Hello,

For a while now I have had the urge to learn to play drums. I own my own home but I'm sure that if I start drumming at least ten neighbors will hear it, some of which are elderly and will probably not appreciate it.

Is there a good way to learn to play drums without getting visited by the boys in blue?

Maybe some drum covers or deadeners or a soundproof box?

I guess there is always drum pads but that is not the same. I don't really aspire to be a drummer but would like to learn enough to play with a garage metal band. I currently play guitar and bass so that would help me be more versatile.

Cheers!

I love him, but his first CD, woahhhh!! A lot of whining sounds. I think he sounds better now. I heard a couple of songs on his new CD, maybe it'll be a success. I love that Ice Box song too!

some people equate a good guitarist with the ability to play killer solos and pick very well. But is that what its all about? Can a rhythm guitarist playing dominantly just chords that has excellent composition and lyrical ability be consdiered a good musician? Why is it that rhythm guiatrists are always hid in the shadows? Is good guitar playing really weighed with the level of difficulty of guitar playing? Is it possible to be a legendary musician in today;s world by just doing something creative with the base of mostly chords?

Can someone give me a good interpretation of this song? I once heard it described as a guy and a girl talking to each other. Btw, I have never, ever heard a line like "Hunting you, I can smell you, alive..." I love that...very animal like.

A drummer, a keyboardist, a basist, two guitars, and two singers. Would it work or just fall apart??? I know Slipknot has 9 members but that band kind of pisses me off. (Don't go into it...stick with the first question...please for all our sakes...)

My employer likes a song by Johny Cash that goes something like "God's gonna cut them down" .... I've gone to limewire and typed those words in every way you could, and still can't seem to find the song for him. So, what's the title to that song, so I can get it for my employer? Thanks!!

Recently I've been listening to my ipod before i go to sleep and sometimes I fall asleep with the headphones still in and the music going, only to wake up hours later with the music still playing. Now, ive always been curious if the songs that i heard subconciously when i was sleeping would trigger something in my brain if i heard them again when i was fully awake. Would i remember a song that i had heard when i had fallen asleep? well thats all haha

This friday December 8th is the anniversary of two of the worst days in the history of music. The Murder of John Lennon 12/08/80 and the Murder of Dimebag Darrell from Pantera, 12/08/2004. Are you going to celebrate their lives? I am going to listen to heavy doses of pantera, damageplan, beatles, and lennon solo.
