what most musicians would spend it on.........................DRUGS! of course its a cheap substitution for real inspiration. so maybe i'd buy booze instead if were feeling like playing the blues.of course $100 dollars isnt very much nowadays so as far as hardware is concerned you might get a drum head and a couple new sticks if you were a drummer . A guitarist would maybe get some strings and a pick ...........possibly a cord. yeah now that i think about it the first 2 ideas might get you more bang for your buck.

Id save it. Just because I was a musician doesnt mean that I would go out and buy a new guitar just because I had the money for it. My old one is still as useful

A acoustic guitar. You can get a cheap decent one for under a hundred. Or maybe a new guitar petal? Hmm? Personally, I would stick with the acoustic, BUT I am a drummer, so my predisposition would be to stick with outfitting my drum set with new heads and some new sticks. Yes. Oh, yes.

Actually, for me, as a flute and saxophone player, $100 doesn't go very far. If I had more, I'd buy and alto so I don't have to use my crappy school horn.
