the ibanez. it has more tonal options than the epi. as for stringing the ibanez, you put the string in from the back of the guitar. also any "universal" hardcase can fit it easily.

Given the choices, I'd go with the Ibanez. That said, neither of these are particularly good guitars at all. Personally, I would spend the extra money (and I have) to get a Fender standard strat--a great all-around guitar that you can play for years and will sound pretty good in any situation-- or an Epiphone Les Paul Standard for a more rock sound. Ibanez guitars are more popular for heavy metal (I don't know if that's what you're looking for). In general, I'd just go to your local music store (preferably one with a pretty wide selection like a Sam Ash or Guitar Center), tell the salesman how much you're looking to spend and what genre you plan to play, and try out a bunch of guitars. Also, make sure to plug them into an amp that's the same or similar to the one you'll be using. Some guitars sound great in some amps and terrible in others.
Hope this helps.

avoid the Epiphone - they don't sound anything like a Les Paul and I'd just as soon have a Fender over an Ibanez but only because I like the Fender sound better, theres nothing wrong with an Ibanez. BUT - I like that Godin you had in your other question. I'd bet they make most of the parts on that Ibanez. Check out the link I left for you on the other question.

The Epiphone. I've had bad experiences with the Floyd Rose floating bridge (first one) with it staying in tune, it's warped necks, things like that. But that's just my personal preferences. Plus, it's easier to change strings with the Epiphone, as you have to reverse the way you change strings with the Floyd (ball bearings go towards the headstock), and it requires enough tools to do the job. You'll feel like a surgeon after changing strings on one of those things.
And for $160, that's a great price for an Eppy.

In this case the Ibanez will be your best bet. The les paul is not the one you think. I would look at some of the Jackson guitars. The king V is a great guitat and cheap. Try Dean also. The Dimebag model is not a bad price. Also look at musiciansfriends close outs .

Get the ibanez GRG170DX. it is better overall. the epiphone looks like a copy so thats not good. but you should first try it out before getting it so you wont be sorry that u bought it. I have that particular model in jewel blue and it is great for starting or preforming!
try here for guitar center locations:

the ibanez with a superstrat copy design is definetly the better one.
thats the one i might get. the epiphone les paul is a cheaper copy so don't go for that. get a Gibson les paul jr. though they are kinda expensive. go here for the ibanez info: http://www.ibanez.com/guitars/guitar.asp?model=GRG170DX&color=2
you can click on the other color if you want a closer look.
good luck!

both are good quality instruments, but the epiphone is heavier to wear than most guitars and the body being more dense has an effect on the sound not being as full. i prefer strat type electrics, lighter to wear, necks are easier to work with for me. i've been playing guitar for 30 years, and that's just my preference of instrument for weight and comfort of use.

It is not really your decision to make honey. Each has its usefulness and harms. Pad is safer because it helps the old blood to come out of your body however it is messier but tampons are not good for your body if used frequently and there is a risk of toxic shock when using tampons. I personally use tampons only if i have to (work out or swimming) and use pad for the rest of the times. I find tampons very uncomfortable and painful
