I know its a long shot.... a few years back I saw on MTV or one of the music channels a music video with bellydancers on a rug in a town square which looked like Morrocco, the song had a middle eastern/ sounding vibe to it and it was very upbeat.
Told you it was a long shot!!!

it's only music, no words ....it was popular....maybe in the 80's late 70's i don't know.....they play it on the smooth jazz stations still....it's not your ordinary jazz, sax and all that it has a catchy melody and beat....can anyone just throw some names out....I'll check it ....it might be it............thanks!!!!!!

If so you've got to check out Bruce Anderson. I bought his MAMA cd last week and if your a fan of these guys its a must have for you to. Its got songs like TIMETO SAY GOODBYE, NELLA FANTASIA, TO WHERE YOU ARE,BROKEN VOW,THE PRAYER and of course MAMA.
