When she first came on American Idol I thought her "dumb blonde" act was just that an act. Since then though I've her interviews, downloaded her album and what finally turned me around to a fan was the article I read about her in US Magazine...and all I can say is it's a wonder she turned out as good and talented as she is. Between her Dad's prison sentences and her Mom's drug abuse,mental and physical abuse, socking her in the mouth, beatings with hair brushes and all this when she was 5 to 8 years of age. The only stable infulence she had was her grandmother and she lost her when she was a sophomore in high school.

Before you write her off, do yourself a favor listen to I Wonder, a song she wrote for her Mother, My Angel a song she wrote for her Grandmother and the other songs on her album she penned herself and tell me if you don't agree that she is very talented and deserves this break she has gotten in life...something tells me her Mom is fixing to come out of the woodwork...

Ok, i know some of the lyrics to the refrane, but i can't remember who sings it. it goes:
