Jay-Z is a living legend..but 2pac is a hero. Jay-Z wouldn't be half what he is if 2pac had never existed. I love Jay, but put any of his songs up against almost any of pacs..no competition. And Pac wrote about things that mattered, like for example in "keep ya head up". jay to me seems to be all about bragging and partying and beefing. not that there's anything wrong with that.

2Pac is by FAR the best rapper EVER!
He changed the lives of many, and largly helped rap get to where it is today.
Now don't get me wrong, Jay-Z is good at what he does, but not near good enough to compare to 'Pac!

I'll say 2Pac is the greatest rapper-he set the bar on what a rapper should be but since he died I'll give it to HOV.

dont get me wrong, i love the blueprint, but jay-z sold out with his countless duets with beyonce...if i wanted to hear that garbage, id just listen to ja rule
