My favorite band, Tool, is soooo underated. Most people i talk to either haven't heard of them, or say "there alright i guess".

How can u not love a band with maynard's lyrics and rifs, with Danney Carey's intensley awesome drumming backing it up?

Any other tool fans out there? if so, wuts ur favorite song?

I need to find a song that relates to a short story called "The Seventh Man"

Long story short: Boy looses friend that gets hit by a huge wave on a beach during a hurricane. The boy is driven with guilt until his 40's, thinking that he could have saved him from the 'wave'. In the end he goes back to the beach and confronts the water and the 'wave'.

I am so sick that drummers don't get recognized enough. I even went into this website that said "so easy even your drummer can do it!" how insulting is that!! Drummers are always in the very back and are almost always kicked out of bands. Why is this? If there was no drummer, there would be no beat. And drumming is not as easy as it looks, you have to concentrate on four things at a time, you have to keep the rythim with both your hands and feet each with different strikes. Oh and don't forget about speed and trying not to move your wrist as much. Drummers are the ones who work most, if the guitarists or bassist sweat, it is either because of the temperature or from jumping around I am not dissing guitarists or bass players, it is just that drummers just don't get recognized. Who else agrees with me?

I need to find a song with lyrics that I can relate to the short story "The Seventh Man", written by the Japanese writer Haruki Murakami.

The story is not very popular, so for those of you who don't know the plot, here is a short summary:
Little boy and his family are stuck in a major hurricane. Once the eye passes over their island the boy goes to the beach to play with his best friend for a few minutes. The storm comes back and a huge wave kills his best friend before they can get out of there. The incident and the "wave" drive the boy 'crazy' until his 40's, because he feels like he could have saved him. In the end he finally goes back to that same beach and confronts the water and makes peace with the 'wave'.

I'm trying to locate this beautiful christmas song for a holiday event. I'm not sure if it's performed by the philharmonic orchestra or not, but it has a lovely, haunting melody. My first concert was Bob Dylan....I was 12 years old and my granny and uncle took me, lol. Since then I have seen Foghat and The Eagles and sadly that is it (I'm only 17, so there is plenty of time!).....I'd really like to see the Stones though....thanks for the answers!
