i've always liked her, though i don't think promiscuous is quite her style. i just saw the video for "all the good things", her new single, which is awesome. i think she is really talented and beautiful.what do you think?

It's pretty good, actually. Name of the song/band if you know it. It's an X-Box game.

I like music that has melancholic touch to it. As long as it's oldies, spanish, alternative, or rock.
Here are some example..

Anathema- Emotional Winter
Tommy James & the Shondells- Crimson and Clover
Katatonia- Deadhouse
Team Sleep-Cambodia
Johnny Cash-Hurt

I looked up the lyrics but there are several singers that sing the song. Who sings the song that is in the commercial? Is it Tears for Fears?

Some of the lyrics:
"All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places
Worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races
Going no where
Going no where
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression
No expression
Hide my head I wanna drown my sorrow
No tomorrow
No tomorrow"

I'm making a CD for a party. I need lots of hilarious/great/possibly silly 80s music.

It is my contention, along with many other Toad aficionados, that Windmills is their best song. Is it really their best, or are we all mislead?

Evanescence is an awesome band but have any of you heard of Lacuna Coil? You can check out some of their songs here:

www.myspace.com/lacunacoil

I think they have a heavier sound and the lead singer has a more powerful, almost country-like voice than the Evanescence singer. The track that stands out mostly to me is called 'Our Truth' which begins with an ethereal tribal yodel. Not to mention, the lead singer is beautiful!

Let me know what you guys think.

I don't think I can give much info about this. And the lyrics I'm thinking of might not be right, but it sounds like this: "...you can run and hide....child..." And they might say the word sunshine in the song. It's a female singing. And it's a 90's song, I believe. It has a very mysterious sound to it, like when the song is going off, it's instrumental but you hear this this funky beat to it. I'm thinking such of a singer like Sarah Mclahan, a singer like her but I don't think it's her. Also when the song is almost over , there might have been a few "oohs" and then a funky beat. I haven't heard the song in a long time, and I did have like 30 seconds of it recorded on a tape but I can't find it. So it will be a miracle if anyone knows the song I'm talking about or anything that might help me. But sometimes I see a music question that I have no idea on, and yet someone knows.

I'm looking for a song that I heard. It's not a new song and I heard it a while ago. It tells you how to move to the song(music) like this:

...clap your hands (clap clap clap clap...) ...step to the right(left)..... slide to the right(left)... jump to the front(back)...stomp your foot...get down to the floor 'till you can't no more...go up high etc.

I really can't remember too much but our kids were dancing and seemed like they were having a lot of fun. Can some one help me??
