My answer would be NO. I am a firm believer that you must Want, Need, and Ask for help. take away any part of that triangle and you will fail. She must first admit her problem, stop the lies and give her life back to God. Stop blaming Bobby. A person makes therer own choices after a while. like I say. Lying is denial.

I being from NYC living in the inner city, and growing up in the 80's and 90's naturally grew up listening to rap. In those times when rap music wasn't mainstream, the music was about something. Be it an outcry of the horrendous poverty and discrimination minorities grew up around, or just having fun and letting your voice be heard.

With the onset of gansta rap (I once liked but now despise because I matured) is when things started to go downhill.

Hate, violence, degradation of women, selfishness, greed, and all other decadent behaviour associated with most, not all, rap music.

African Americans (heck any music of African descent like salsa for instance) have been very creative and contributed significantly to music..However in my opinion this last contributions-rap music-is a detriment to our society.

I can't stand it, it literally makes my blood boil. Worst still cause I'm still in the "hood" and this is the cRAP that everyone listens to.

What are your thoughts?

I saw him on Jay Leno the other night and MAN is he awesome! The song," Drinking Me Lonely" is so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes and his voice is just ridiculously perfect.

Honestly, for every one great musician/band we get here they come out with 10 that usually end up putting us to shame. Anyone else notice this trend? Is there a scientific reason for this or are they just more motivated? For examples I'll bring up Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Pete Townshend or Mick Jones.

On the CD of "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" by My Chemical Romance there is a cartoon of Jesus on a cross. Why? Are they making fun of Jesus? Are they portraying themselves to be as Jesus? Is it blastphamous? I need to know cause I'm a Christian and I just bought this CD.

this song has been driving me crazy (well the one line i think i remember). I know the tune, but that does crap on the internet. It SOUNDS like something thats by Breaking Benjamin (and cuz im so stupid it prolly is) but i went through the songs i have and i couldnt find it (and i think i have all their songs).

I am looking for the name of this song. It's a guy and girl, and I think the guy is R. Kelly. It's an older song, and I remember the video. It starts out with, " 3 years ago promises was all I heard, wait a minute, let me finish." They each have their own verse and both verses start out with that line. Thanks for your help.
