Fan of both but I would say without regret and surely that No1 are Guns N' Roses!!
And their music was the peak of hard rock..after them nothing was the same and inovative..

Guns-N-Roses! I love Metallica, but only their old stuff! (Ride The Lightning, Kill 'em All, Master of Puppets) Most of G-N-R's stuff is kickass!

wow. that's a tough one. all of the guitarists were great. but i'll have to say metallica. they still have it together while g&r can't make up their minds.
