They have outlasted everything.

No sorry they don't get my vote...they might have outlasted the Beatles but their music never rivaled what the Beatles produced. Over the years bands have come and gone but there are those that everyone knows regardless of age, the top 2 are likely these 2. Put to the test though the Beatles are gonna win.

You are right about outlasting the Beatles but to say they are the best band of all time??? I think they're the 2nd best but I still have to vote BEATLES. If you separated the Stones and let each of them try to go so-lo it would never work. I doubt they would sell 10,000 Cd's but the Beatles on the other hand....Each one of them went so-lo and made it big. 2 of them are still going strong and the other 2...God rest their souls....Anyway, I do LOVE the STONES but I will apologize for disagreeing with you.

While I really like the Stones, I reserve the top Rock spot for Led Zep or Pink Floyd.
