There's a definite progression in meaning from the first to the third verse, and I want to understand how the second verse bridges the gap.

i heard it on the radio earlier but didnt catch the artist or title, it's sung by a woman and the chorus goes along the lines of:

I'm going to a Skynyrd concert today. It starts at seven. They are playing with 38 special. My mom, being my mom, is making us leave at ten. I've accepted the fact that I probably won't hear free bird, but I would still love to hear Sweet Home Alabama. When do they usually play it in their concerts? Towards the end, middle or beggining? Or is it unpredictable?
