When does Lynyrd Skynyrd usually play Sweet Home Alabama in their concerts? I need to know by 3:30 today.?

I'm going to a Skynyrd concert today. It starts at seven. They are playing with 38 special. My mom, being my mom, is making us leave at ten. I've accepted the fact that I probably won't hear free bird, but I would still love to hear Sweet Home Alabama. When do they usually play it in their concerts? Towards the end, middle or beggining? Or is it unpredictable?

If you have any idea then please answer!

Last time I saw them, Sweet Home Alabama was the last song of the regular set, before the encores. Then they come back out, did Travellin' Man. Then they come back out again, and it was Freebird time.

man, you are so lucky to be going to a concert with Lynyrd Skynyrd AND 38 Special...both bands are so awesome!! I'd forget about when they play the song, and start working on getting your mom to let you stay for the whole show!!!

I have seen them a few times. The popular songs are almost always encores. They tend to throw a few in randomly here and there but the encores are there most popular songs so it could be then or it could be right before the first set break.

Usually it will be right at the opening or they will save it to the end. Maybe it depends on when they want to rile the crowd up! I saw them at Country Thunder and they played it right at the beginning.

I would think toward the end, considering it's one of their biggest hits, if not the biggest. Usually bands save their best for last.

Well maybe its cuz that's where they are from, and it's their biggest hit along with Freebird. That would be my guess.
