well, which is more overrated?
I would say Stevie.......all SRV did is regurgitate tired old blues
riffs at double-speed......and every song he wrote had the same "Pride and Joy" feel to it......essentially he wrote the same
d a m n song over and over.
And all the Nuge did was run up and down scales endlessly,
the same way, the same song, everytime..and was such a lousy singer that he had to hire a vocalist........many people still think it was him singing on his hits, cause he kept that "other vocalist"
as under wraps as possible, to give the impression that it was indeed him singing..... and the playing was nothing short of masterbatory..........just long pointless jams that make Jerry
Garcia look good by comparison.......

See, when my dad was in the hospital there was this song and it was Slovene (my family heritage). And I couldn't translate it. I know he had the lyrics for it but now that he's gone I don't know what to do. The song's name is Zora Je by Neda Ukraden. I'll send the untranslated lyrics in a second. I've looked everywhere on the internet and I found the lyrics but I couldn't find a translater. It is quite a long song and I only have about 533 characters left. Thanks!

I've been sent an Excel quiz that's all about popular bands & artists in the music industry - there's a cryptic clue and I have to figure out the name of the band or artist; for example
Clue: "Dorothy's dog"
Answer: "Toto"

I'm seriously stuck on some of the questions (each one is a different question - they're not all leading to the same thing), so if you think you know the answers - please let me know? And if you could put the clue next to your answer, that'd really help me too. Thanks in advance '_'

Think of it......three years before "night moves", Grey came out
with "Drift Away", which has the exact same theme of lost youth,
melancholia, ect, but most of all, the same vocal, in sound, timbre,
etc., Think of the beginning, and the slow build-up, just like night moves.........the reoccuring chorus with the soulful black chick chorus.....now, I'm not saying it was a DIRECT rip-off...Night Moves is a classic song in its own right...it's just that its patently
obvious that "Drift Away" was a big time influence, and, sonsidering, it charted at #5 in the top ten, surely Seger was quite
familiar with it, being in the music industry himself. AND. the vocals
are spot-on similar, with the same yearning for wistful youth...
same with the lyrics......Drift away...in melancholy reminiscing of better, older days......
Both were great songs, but you have to admit that Drift Away,
being first, influenced Night Moves big time!
