I sing really good and can hit notes most females wouldn't even dare try, but my school won't let me take band and chorus. Band is my favorite part of the day. But my mom wants me to take chorus and she is taking me out of band. How do i tell her in a nice way that i will NOT quit band no matter what she does?

it's by an "emoish" band. they are not a mainstream band which makes it harder. um, i can't recall any specific lyrics, but the song itself is about a girl being held back by her parents.

Chair tests are on Monday and I'm stresssing out because I'm not quite sure how to practice. We have three songs from which our teacher will choose a selection from to play in front of the class. I have no clue as to what he'll be choosing and each song is, like, ten minutes long. I am so stressed out! What's the best way to go about practicing the clarinet and getting those freaking notes down. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. :) I don't know, any tips on the clarinet will help too... this will be my third year playing in high school.

I am taking Spanish, and I have to do a project on music from Colombia, since it is a Spanish speaking country. For my project, I was thinking of playing some Colombian music for the class. Problem is, I'm not sure what to play. Does anyone have any suggestions of good, popular Colombian music. And by the way, I play violin, so I would prefer something towards classical music, if it's available. Any type of sheet music, or maybe just a midi would be very helpful. Thanks!

Did they actually play instruments? Someone in one of the questions said that they weren't a real band. I remember Davey Jones, Mike Nesmith, Peter Tork, and Mickey forgot his last name. I would watch the tv show all the time. groovy!
