but that is what green day is trying to apeal to, all ages. yes, their cds, might not be edited for younger listeners. but this is unfortunatly how our society is.

I've been listining to Green Day since I was like 7 years old. I heard an edited version of one of their songs and it killed it. Kids aren't the only people who listen to green day, my mom did too and she still does. I don't think they should have to edit their songs because they have the parental advisory sticker so parents know there are curses and you can't buy it without an adult, so I think it should be up to the parent to decide.

I disagree vehemently! I love Green Day (I'm 26) and I would be very disappointed in them if they compromised their music and values and Punk just to please 14 year old's parents! Green Day is a punk rock band, they never intended to be a teeny bopper band! If it turned out that teeny boppers like them, its because of what they are! They have a message and apparently teenyboppers are ready to hear it! So get a grip Daddy-O!

I'm grown and married, and I've got everything they've done. I don't want them to make censored CD's. I like them for what they are.
