Music - 9 September 2006

I'm a massive Joy Division/New Order fan, and so I have noticed (and embraced) the obsession that there seems to be with dead celebrities and musicians.
My question- should they recieve the adulation and worship they do. With Joy Division in particular, this hero-worship seems to create the image of an immortal hero and most fans forget they were human, especially with Ian Curtis, and also that they had weaknesses and lives off-stage.
On the other hand, this fan worship keeps their memory alive.
What do you think. I'm actually writing an essay on this, so any answer would be appreciated!

I am from Boston. Never been to Ireland. Don't really have any relatives with any Irish folk music, I guess. My families a real melting pot, apparently. What are the best, I'd love to get to know the largest part of my families culture. Are there any Irish classical composers?

I only listen to my Ipod. I don't listen to the audio CD itself. Should I have one, I'd rip the contents to my pc and listen from the pc instead. So my point is.. I don't need the CD at all.
If I bought the CD, I'd go thru the same process.

So if you were me, would you still buy the CD or be a pirate?
