I don't know anyone here in our town that could give him guitar lessons. He was given a Fender as a Christmas present and he loves it. It's beautiful but he would really love to learn to play it for real. I am musically challenged. Is there a website or something I could go to that would have easy to learn lessons for a ten year old? Appreciate any suggestions.

I am looking to buy a new steel string acoustic guitar and want the best I can buy in a $400 to $600 budget. Buying used is no problem. I went to Guitar Center and tried a Parkwood $499 (mahogany back and sides, spruce top) which was ok but not as playable as some of the cheaper Yamahas I tried but sounded fuller. I have fat short fingers and playability is a big concern.
