I like checking out new and unsigned bands, my favourite is called Supernothing...check them out. Anyone know of any other bands worth looking up?

the ones o know are total crap...i think ones called gene genet or jene genet .they have a webspace where their songs are.its a boy girl duo that wear tit tape,,,,,,,,,,,oh nearly forgot a band called grasshopper....i met him and randomly gave him a lift to a gig he was doing in a pub...then went to see him play a month later.when he finished his set .me and a mate were walking away and through the crowds he shouted my name and he waved.i was really touched and he hugged me and said i was special.im a lesbian so there was no funny buisness

My fave unsigned band is Silver Reef but I'm biased towards my mates there. Some less known bands I'd recommend would be
yeti - the not famous post libertine break up band, with the bassist)
Aberfeldy - twee scottish band
:( - an aberdeen band, not great musically but novel - 8 bit rock sounds like your nintendo having its heart broken
Adem - slightly left field indie band
belle and sebastian, camera obscura, arab strap and sons and daughters - all from glasgow
paddingtons - the children of the sex pistols
Patrick Wolf - this man is a genius
Pippettes - sexy retro 3 part harmonies
noisettes - cool slightly mad though
Larrikin Love - great band, along same lines as mystery jets
special needs - split up but would recommend you chack out the song blue skies
And everyone should listen to the Libertines, Sigur Ros, the Fall, Joy Division and the Smiths

yeah i know a fab band called "the gods directors" they are unsigned and do all there own stuff a def must see.they are a rock kinda new metal group but are fab live

I played at a gig and a band called stand out riot played and they were excellent, bought their cd.

I was on myspace and seen a real good band called Brokenfall. I only played one song, but it was really good. I think it is either www.myspace.com/brokenfall or www.myspace.com/brokenfallband
