After listening to it closely, I am of the contention that it is about Lee Harvey Oswald and the assassination of JFK in Dallas, TX. Any proof of this would be appreciated.

Brace yourselves because it's country-- The name of it is "Austin" or "P.s. This is Austin"

I heard it was sung by Brad Paisley but it doesn't sound like him! Could it be Blake Shelton? or any ideas?

They were a quartet. Their album included a cover of "Tobacco Road", in addition to a great, slow version of "Jumpin' Jack Flash."
I had the LP but can't find anything on the band other than they had some sort of affiliation with Steppenwolf's management. Can't remember any names of the band members but would love to know if any of them went on to greater fame. Anybody know? Thanks!

The chorus goes "Suzy on the bridge, doo do do doo doo doo..." except those might not be the lyrics. Then there's this more mellow part: "Do do do do do do do........ do do do do do do doo" or something like that. It might be considered alternative or slow rock. It's a man singing it with a smooth voice.
