Country music is the only music I can relate to. The artists all seem so good-willed and you can actually understand the lyrics, unlike metal music.

My favorite artists...oh my gosh...you name the artist and I have probably seem them live. Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Dixie Chicks, Jamie O' Neal, Trick Pony, Phil Vassar, Martina McBride (awesome show!!), Keith Urban, Deana Carter, Brad Paisley, and this Saturday I will be seeing Carrie Underwood!!!

Dwight Yoakam, above all others! True to the Honky Tonk tradition, with just the right touch of Stones-style, '60s rock influence. Best artist out there. Only missed him three times in twenty years! He generally swings through my area (DC) two to three times per year. For female vocalist, nobody beats Martina!
Jo Dee always rocks out to perfection. For groups, it's between the Dixie Chicks & Brooks & Dunn. Production values up there with the likes of The Rolling Stones! Those are my favorites but Dwight is the ****! (Great lead guitarist in Eddie Perez!)

I love country music

One of my favorite singers is Terri Clark, she has this song called "I'm Alright" from the "How I Feel" CD, ironically JoDee Messina has a song called "I'm Alright" as well, it's a different song, but I like hers too. I also love Martina McBride, Shania Twain, Faith Hill and Trisha Yearwood too.

For the men I like Chris Cagle, Tim McGraw and Trace Adkins.

Brooks and Dunn, SheDAISY, and Rascal Flatts are my favorite groups.

I used to LOVE country music in the early 90s, not so much anymore.
However, there are still a few artists who I like.

My favorite song and singer is "This Kiss" by Faith Hill. Everytime I hear it, it makes me feel better.
