I ask this because I am an african american and i love rock music I like different type of music. I just don't listen to rap and cut somebody up music. I listen to Jazz and anything else. Should I be weird for liking this type of music?

dont get me wrong, i listen to hardcore metal, rock, pop, and even rap but ive been listening to country since i was born. its one of the only styles i know that has real soul and meaning. sure some of it is a little "twangy" but its good music. why do people insist on dissing it?
