I don't really like Keane.

I think they're great. I love BF5, and I like the solo work of Ben Folds as well. My favorite song by BF5 is "Underground" but I do love "Army" as well. Do they have a best-of?
But I think you also need to consider the virtues of Keane. They're a piano rock band out of England. Their second album 'Under the Iron Sea' is due in a few weeks. Their first album 'Hopes and Fears' was released a year or two ago and it was quite good.
The thing I love about both these bands is that you really don't miss the guitar. Piano can carry a melody better than any other instrument, imho.

no, a piano rock band is called pop. bands like these have ruined the name of rock and roll. why dont you listen to some priest sometime

Yes, Ben is right there with Thelonius Monk, more satisfying than Manzarek, and just plain fundamentally sound!
