I've heard rumors that he was signed on to portray Snake in a remake of Escape from New York. Can anyone verify or nullify this?

I forgot the title of this cheap-as-dirt horror film; my vague recollection seems to recall a playboy business man, who gets a strange bottle of wine in the mail. Upon drinking the strange tasting wine, he becomes possessed a vampire, hellbent on revenge against the ones who originally killed the undead creature...

...any ideas, anyone???

I am more of the Johnny Depp fan and of course I'm going to see Sweeney Todd on the day it comes out (21 December 2007), the man can sing! The movie even recieved 4 Golden Globe Nominations, best actor, best actress, best director and best picture; musical and comedy, I mean, that's BIG! Although, my friends are more of the Will Smith fan and I'm not. I've seen I Am Legend; not impressed. Therefore, I enjoyed the first National Treasure and I wouldn't mind into seeing the second sequal. Enough about my opinions, what's yours???

I manage a movie theatre and we are trying to come up with methods to get people to turn off their cell phones, stop talking during the movie, and deal with crying/distracting babies.

I'm just curious to know if you've observed any creative yet effective practices at movie theatre which can be easily implemented.

I know some babies offer crying rooms in the auditoriums, but at my location that is not a practical choice at this time.

What's the scariest movie, in your opinion, with very little to no blood/gore/torture? I can't stand watching movies with gruesome scenes and sadistic tortue, but I want to watch a movie that's scary. Thanks!

I have a weakness for taboo, out-of-the-ordinary, and star-crossed love stories!

Please, give me some suggestions!

(Examples of what I'm looking for: Notes on a scandal, Tipping the velvet, Heavenly creatures, Shakespeare in love, Amelie, Anna and the King, Being John Malkovich, The Other Sister, but I'm a cheerleader, Clueless, Edward Scissorhands, Lost in translation, Painted veil, Snow falling on cedars, Romeo + Juliet, etc etc etc!)

Doesn't it come back to bite them all in the backside? I wondered if this was one of those acts that would prove to have a beneficial purpose, like not killing Gollum led to the destruction of the ring.

Aragorn says that it is because enough blood has been spilled on account of Wormwood already, but that just seems too simplistic and not enough of a morality tale for the LOTR series.

I signed up for a Blockbuster on-line account in August of 2006. I was to receive 3 rentals at a time for $19.16 (with tax) a month, then in August, they raised it to $26.61 (with tax). Now, I receive a notice that they are going to raise it again to $37.26 (with tax) effective the next billing cycle.
The rate at which I receive movies is steadily declining - in the last 2 months, I average getting 3 movies or less a week. Does anyone else find this appaling that they have doubled their rates for declining service? Will you join me in boycotting their services, both on-line and in store?

By the way, Netflix is offering the same deal for $18.12 (with tax). And they have a larger selection. I re-signed up for it this morning. I had cancled it, but I am going back to a company that knows how to treat it's customers
