Has a black comedy guy in movie similar to Larry B. Scott of Iron eagle/Space camp. They get thrown in jail by the local police but then eventually all the friends come up state to help them rebuild the place. They turn it into a huge night club in the end and the butler of sorts looks like Einstein. At first the place is falling apart (chandeller falls down, they fall through the walls) but eventually they fix the place up. I can't seem to find this movie anywhere on the web.

I saw 3:10 to Yuma, and the ending was kind of stupid, and open to very heated arguments. I think I understand what happened, but because it was not clear, the resolution could have gone several different ways.

I hate that because maybe it's a cop out to get away from coming up with a true ending because the director couldn't think of one. Also, it opens up numerous speculation and creativity on the ending, which may or may not be really what was intended to happen.

Forget the artsy nonsense, I just want clear, rational and believable endings. Vague endings are cop-outs and unsatisfyng.

I learned that the original Michael Myers was only paid $250.00 for his role, and he is Erin Moran's brother(she played this sister on Happy Days).
The first one to give me some good trivia will get 10 points.

I've always enjoyed watching Jessica Alba...
what guy (and some gals) haven't?

But this new movie of her's seems to really be
a step backwards for her with it's silly slapsick humor....

What will happen to her career if it bombs?

Just look at that face....

who could possibly imagine that face won't be around?

Whats the name of the movie where 2 soldiers are on a military airplane and they get shot down by the "bad people" and then the bad people go looking for them and one of the soldiers is injured so is left behind and the other one leaves to go to a spot to where his radio works so that he can contact the military people and then like i remember in one spot, the bad guys are chasing him and he hides in a ditch where theres a lot of dead bodies and they loose him there and also thers a part where the people in the military that are supposed to go get him want to back off and just leave him there because they think that he is dead already.

hero of the trilogy, Mark Hamill? I mean it basically launched Harrison Ford's career while Hamill went on to do a few films and later the voice of the Joker but compared to Ford, Mark hamill didnt do much after Return of the Jedi. And the second trilogy really didnt launch anyone's career as most of the actors
had already established themselves as actors. I just thought this was interesting to note.

All I can remember is, it's black & white, 2 guy's, 1 girl drive to FL. On the way they stop off at some old ladie's house and sort of scam some money off her. In FL. they get a hotel room by the ocean. One of the guy's is hell bent on betting at the dog track. They leave the girl alone and she inadvertantly picks up a drug deal transaction payment(or something like that) and goes to the airport. Some where along the way she runs into one of the guys at a bus station or airport. It's deffinetly an "indi" film.
I know this is strange, but if anyone can tell me, and it's right, I'll buy and send you a copy.(if you don't already have it).

Thanks, B

A couple of years ago, I saw this movie on HBO I think. It was about this girl in France or in some country in the 1800's and she had a secret lover who taught her to play the Harp. And they exchanged love notes through the strings or something like that. And the girls aunt is involved. So she gets this guy to teach her to write letters better, and he rapes her. And then her secret lover and the guy who raped her basically battle. And the guy who raped her dies. And in the end, she tells her grandmother that she thinks she's pregnant.

I know the movie starts with a V.

Does anyone know what it's called?

You know, the bad guy in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies (or rather, the second and third one). He's so cool and unflappable and he has such perfect dignity about him. The bad thing is I'm lusting after someone who's described as a psychopath in some reviews. That's not good. (And I'm not even gay. Well, not much.) Is it JUST me, ladies? And gentlemen?

One that isn't great art or redeemed by even one great performance. Basically just a guilty pleasure or a satisfying escape? Mine is Imitation of Life with Lana Turner and Sandra Dee.
