...there's a definite sense of realism, that appears to have been thoroughly researched and reconstructed, in the following medieval films:
1983's "Hearts & Armor", starring Tonya Roberts
1985's "Flesh + Blood", starring Rutger Hauer and Jennifer Jason Leigh
...once upon a time, I had thought that it would be most interesting to travel back in time, and spend some quality time in this particular era; after seeing these two most poignant and realistically depicted epic films....uh, I think not!!!
