Has a black comedy guy in movie similar to Larry B. Scott of Iron eagle/Space camp. They get thrown in jail by the local police but then eventually all the friends come up state to help them rebuild the place. They turn it into a huge night club in the end and the butler of sorts looks like Einstein. At first the place is falling apart (chandeller falls down, they fall through the walls) but eventually they fix the place up. I can't seem to find this movie anywhere on the web.

I did a rather comprehensive check on IMDB for any review containing the word "hotel" and I found 1 improbable match.
Are you looking for the movie: SCREWBALL HOTEL (1988)
This was the partial review that I found:
Three boys drop out of military school. The gets jobs working at a hotel, but it's about to go under. They decide to help the owner raise enough money to stay in business. They prove that sex sells by holding "Miss Purity Pageant" starring some of the females staying at the hotel.
