Movies - 24 August 2007

No B horror movies, and I would like something pretty original, rather than based off the inferno or some other literary work. It's alright if it's loosely, but not straight from one. Any Ideas? I would especially like a film from the 70s. Just a side note.

I'd like to see Saturday Night Live III. What ever happened to the main character after the sequel 'Staying Alive'?

Vanilla Sky II would be interesting. Does Tom Cruise's character wake up in 200 years? What's that world like?

Star Wars Episode VII. Why not? It would be cool to see a 70 year old Luke Skywalker.

Mad Max 4. Where did he go after Beyond Thunderdome? (they WERE going to make this but then plans were scrapped)

The Godfather IV. There are definitely some stories there.

Rocky 7. Why not?

Another Dirty Harry movie. Imagine this guy at age 80.

was joan crawford abusive???

i have heard things about her treatment to her childer, her OCD, and other issues, including christina's book.

but i have also see photographs of her with her childern and her eyes are so bright and she has a huge smile and looks happy and even the kids look happy.

but did she ever like abuse them like beat them and neglect them and mistreat them?

also, i heard that one of her sons blood mom came and took him back and then sold him to someone else WTF.

but seriously, did she beat, abuse, neglect her kids?

i'm reading a really good book that i would love to write a movie script of. but i don't want to get into any copyright or infringment trouble. how would i go about getting the rights to develop this story into a feature length movie? can i just write the script and them present it to the author or publisher and see about getting them to back me? or do i need the rights before i write a single word? i don't want to just steal the idea, i just want in on the creation of a movie version. i think it could be a good movie.

It's about two children who get stranded on an island.Theu grow up in that island and reach adolesance.They accidentaly have a child and don't know why.one day the girl steps on a fish that looks like a rock and gets realy sick and so the boy takes her to a rock that they think is god.He prays and the girl gets much better.Laer on they make a boat and eat poisonous berries because they think that they will die.Later on a boat rescues them and they were only sleeping and that's where the movie ends.It's a good movie.Do you know the name?

This movie I think is one of the funniest ever. I just don't think the NAACP,International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission and other groups would let them get away with it today.
It seems like everyone is PC these days and so serious.
