As I was reading an old John Wayne WWII movie,
that I can't remember the name of. In it John Wayne played a
naval officer whose back was broken. He spent "weeks" with
the mantra "I'm gonna move that toe" And in the end he walked again,
can anyone tell me the name of this movie i would be really grateful????

A few movie-endings for me have been:

Titanic = sad
Moulin Rouge = sad
Million Dollar Baby = sad
The Godfather III = sad
Castaway = sad

These last three also had me really depressed for DAYS.

Come to think of it, I don't know of a movie that's been so happy at the end that it's had me bawling. I'd like to know of some sad movies that've had you sobbing, but some REALLY HAPPY movies would be even more appreciated. Thanks!

OK, all I remember is a lesbian with short blonde hair and rides a motorcylce is in a bar one night when she picks up what I think at the time was a straight girl, but they end up getting into a relationship and there is this neighbor who doesn't like lesbians (I think) PLEASE HELP I can't even remember who was in this movie. I'd love to go see this movie, but my hubby hasn't seen the first two. Do they give a brief overview of what happened in the first two movies in the Ultimatum? Do you think it would be easy for someone who never saw the first two to understand? I saw the other two movies. Please advise. Thanks!

I think Fredo betrayed Mike or something like that. What I'm really interested in is what was happening at the funeral when Mike and Fredo hugged like they were making up, and then Mike looked at his bodyguard and killed Fredo later. Why did he do that if they hugged to make up? Can anyone give me a detailed description of what was happening? Didn't Mike feel that Fredo was hidding something near his back?

I don't tend to watch repeats of films but I really loved this one so bought the DVD after watching it at a late night showing at the local cinema. I love the gymnastic abilities of the monster and it is has some very amusing scenes in there. It is really a film about people and the monster is just providing a backdrop for that. Anyway, what did YOU make of it??????

I thought it starred Parker Posey, but don't see it in any of her profiles.. so it must be someone else.. It has an indy feel to it..

It all takes place in one night at a high school reunion (Not Roamie and Michelle).. The one detail I remember specifically is that one of the "popular" people had a kid..maybe 2 kids.. she did something to tick off one of the "less poplular" .. this woman (the one that reminded me of Parker Posey) calls her house and somehow gets the babysitter scared.. the parent gets the kid, and the other offers to watch it.. and then takes off with the baby.

There is alot more to it than that, but that's the only real detail I recall..

It's name was simple.. I figured I'd remember it.. but no luck.

Anyone have a clue?
