It was basically a rip off of "Alien" It took place in some kind of research facility on a planet with a thin atmosphere. Between about 1979 and 1986.

The story goes something like this:
Professor mutates some alien tissue. Alien grows and manages to "infect" some of the people who's tissues start to breakdown into some sort of basic protein. Only the victims don't die the just sort of become gelatinous blobs that divide like primitive cells. It turns out that the basic gelatinous protein blobs are alien food.

The professor(who smokes too much) is discussing things with a big robot with the voice of a little boy. The robot says something about the professor's cancer. The professor asks "How did you know about that?" and the robot replys "I've seen it before, sir." The professor, apparently a very private man, turns off the robot.

At the end the professor has the hero literally rip the tumor from his liver and feed it to the alien which kills it. The alien not the cancer.

I loved it, different to the first but i loved the opening scene. Really intense and it was cool to see a short bit about what happened between the virus initial outbreak and Jim waking up. When you compare it to 2005 'Land of the Dead' theres no comparison. British films have a good way of making a story about real people and not absurd movie characters. Land of the dead was not in the least bit scary and someone needs to tell Romero its not the 60's anymore. Audiences have changed. 28 weeks later was awesome, cant wait for 28 months later!

I wrote a logline and synopsis one day while sitting at my computer....to me, it was a very unique idea...so I sent it out to producers for the fun of it. I got a response back in less than three hours stating they were very interested and want my script. This is my second screenplay and my first took a very long time to write....almost two years. Is this possible in two weeks? Let me know what you think.

When I go to see movies like Saw or Hostel I become quickly bored because I'm neither shocked or horrified. IMO those movies are as horrifying as drinking a glass of milk. I think many people will agree with me because we have been so desensitized and it becomes more difficult to shock the audience. I also think that gore is a band-aid solution to a movie that lacks a good plot, what do you think?
