Sometimes if you telll a child about a movie thats even better, like Cinderella, they will want to watch it. My 5 year old niece used to always watch the same movies when she came over, but I started to persuade her to watch the kid movies I used to like and I was able to enjoy them too. Then they get some variety without you blowing up your VCR, coffee maker, TV, or start shaving off your hair like Brittany Spears! Good Luck!!

Tell her you're not allowed to watch Beauty and the Beast on Saturdays. Then take her outside to play.

C'mon, she is three and you are . . . an adult. You can easily get her attention to bake cookies, color a picture, play dress up. But what it will take is your participation. Have her put her hand on the TV and show her how warm it is, it needs a rest. . . .
