I found the original one was the best; just didn't think Linsay Lohan pulled off the twin effect as well as Hayley Mills did, even though I found Dennis Quaid more likeable as the father than Brian Keith.

The original Hayley mills played both roles so well. I felt like Lindsay missed it on being the nice girl. I felt she came off as a bit of a snob on both roles.

The original. If the newer one had cast an actual actress and not a wannabe like La Lohan, I might have actually liked it.

I like them both but prefer the original with Hayley Mills. I grew up watching this one when I was younger.

I like the newer version. It's hilarious what the twin girls do to try to get their parents back together. I've never seen the original to be honest. I think I would just get bored/tired of watching it.

I am 13 and I like both of them equally. They're kind of different - both so cute though. It's like the same scenario from different time periods.
